We are looking for 8 local families to help us define the future of school photography.
Peak Portraits is officially launching, and we are on a mission to prove that school and nursery photos don't have to be stiff, boring, or stressful. We believe in high energy, genuine smiles, and a professional studio experience that children actually enjoy.
To build our debut commercial portfolio and launch our website, we are hosting an exclusive Casting Call & Photo Shoot Day. We aren't just looking for "models"—we are looking for real local families who want to enjoy a fun morning in the studio and walk away with incredible portraits.
Why We Need You (The "School Look")
At its heart, Peak Portraits is a specialist volume school and nursery photography service. This is our primary offering to the community, and we are dedicated to transforming the "traditional" school photo into something vibrant, stylish and modern.
To show local schools and headteachers the quality of our work, we need to capture "hero" images of children in their full, neat school uniforms. These shots—focusing on crisp lighting and genuine expressions—will be the centerpiece of our brand, demonstrating to schools that their students can look like stars.
The VIP Experience: What to Expect on the Day
This isn’t your typical "sit still and look at the camera" session. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be part of a high-end production:
Real-Time Big Screen Reveal: Our studio is fully tethered. As we take your photos, they will flash up instantly on our large studio screen, allowing you to see the magic happen in real-time, an opportunity for parents t see what we produce in realtime and right out of camera, before we sprinkle the post production magic dust!
At Peak Portraits, we’re on a mission to put a fresh new spin on the tired, old school portrait and inject some real excitement into the process. During this trial shoot, our goal is to quickly build a friendly rapport with your child, capturing spontaneous giggles, great smiles, and true character all in one image. To achieve this, we'll be trying out a few different poses, seating options, and positions to see what works best. Because this is very much a trial session for us, it will help us find the perfect creative rhythm to deliver these fresh, character-rich results within the fast-paced, efficient environment of a live school or nursery shoot.

What We Need From You (The Requirements)
To make this a success for our portfolio, we have a few specific "Model" requirements:
Uniform Accuracy: Children must arrive in their neatest, full school uniform (including blazers, ties, and jumpers). This is crucial as volume school photography is our main service.
Model Release & Content: As this is a portfolio-building event, all participating families must sign a Model Release Form. This gives us permission to use the images and "Behind the Scenes" video/stills of the day for our website, social media, and future marketing.
BTS Consent: We will have a dedicated team capturing the "vibe" of the event. We need families who are comfortable being photographed and filmed while they interact with our team.
Children must be at Nursery or School, aged between 5 & 12 years old.
How to Apply
Because we only have a max of 8 VIP slots available, this is an application-based selection process. We are looking for a variety of ages and different local school uniforms to showcase the range of our work.
